The Union’s facilitators value professional excellence and high quality standards in the design and delivery of education and services. We are guided by a vision of empowering individuals, groups, and communities throughout the world in standing together with The Union to provide innovative health care solutions for the poor.
Our values are represented by the acronym “We Care.”

Wisdom: The Union facilitator uses the wisdom of the group to create an active, open environment that acknowledges the contribution of each participant.
Empowerment: We develop the competence and confidence of each participant to empower them to implement actions that will increase the socioeconomic strength in their communities to address health care challenges.
Commitment to Excellence: We demonstrate high standards in the design and delivery of all education / training services and in all internal and external conduct and communications. We focus on inspiring and helping others to pursue the path of excellence and to see the greatness within themselves and others.
Accountability: We are responsible stewards of The Union. Through our expertise we focus on the objectives and work within resources available. We demonstrate responsibility to The Union and participants by being accountable for people, time, and money.
Responsiveness: We use multiple levels and diverse methodologies to deliver high standards of training. We keep the participant learning objectives as our highest responsibility which allows us to customize the content as per the requirements of the learning group.
Empathy: We demonstrate the high competence we bring to the courses by being sensitive and caring to the participants’ needs. We create a safe learning space in which participants can reflect, assess themselves and build their skills.
