In today’s changing world of public health, programmme managers need to balance many different roles and responsibilities in order to manage the changing needs a national health programme. To do this, the leader has to work in an environment that is complex and requires working with many different individuals who often have opposing interests, expectations, and goals. To promote health projects managers must learn to establish partnerships and build consensus within groups and across organisations. This course trains participants to develop partnerships, build networks, gain consensus for initiatives, manage conflict, and create coalitions that can help ensure a health programme meets its goals.
