The Union’s International Management Development Programme (IMDP) strengthens health systems by training public health professionals in national health programme management.

The IMDP’s mission is to develop a community of leaders and innovators in public health who improve the quality of service provided to the public through well managed health programmes.

In addition to the training participants receive in the courses, the IMDP offers extensive online learning opportunities to participants after a course has finished.

The IMDP enlists faculty members who are experts in their fields with decades of experience working in public health and business management.

Each IMDP course brings together participants from across the globe to share their individual experiences working in public health.
